Any family portrait session that starts with kiddos climbing trees is bound to be great. I love being able to run around and play together right at the beginning of a session because, along with being just a great way to spend an afternoon, it allows everyone to shake off the pre-session nerves, get to know each other, have some no-pressure fun and it leads to beautiful, relaxed more traditional portraits later on.
