Shirlee + John + Oliver + Maddie at the Stone Arch Bridge

Last year I (Sara) got to explore Fort Snelling State Park with this rad family and this year Thea got to go on an urban adventure around the Stone Arch Bridge + Saint Anthony Main with them. Magically Shirlee was able to find the same absolutely perfect rainbow dress for little Maddie. 😍

Bringing Thea into the Hello Buffalo world as another photographer has been an absolute dream and it’s been so much fun for me to be able to see these amazing families through her eyes. It seems like fate that we found each other and it’s been so much fun listening to everyone have such rave reviews of their sessions with her.

I love how this session is the epitome of a nostalgic Minneapolis summer day, from the perfect warm light to the skyline to the iconic Stone Arch Bridge to the impromptu First Ave Star-adorned piano to a pit-stop for a smoothie at the Passionflower food truck to cool down in the Minnesota heat. I’m typing this right now from Seattle and I feel like I just teleported back to the Minneapple. 💛
