Lisa + Jason + Zia · Newborn

Lisa, Jason, Zia and I hung out together for a little bit on a perfect Minnesota spring day to document Z's arrival. There's something undeniably special about photographing newborns, or just being in the presence of a brand new life, and a brand new family. It's the sweetest beginning of this huge journey and everyone's waiting and anxious to see where it leads. 

As my favorite tiny philosopher, Isabelle, perfectly said once, when she was a mere 4 years old:

"When you're a newborn baby everything is make believe, like a dream, because you're brand new and you've never seen it all before."
