Alissa + Mark + Sloane + Rowan at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve

You never really know what’s going to happen at a photo shoot, especially with a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old in the late afternoon. Luckily Sloane was convinced that if we captured the exact right photo the whole family might end up “ON THE NEWS!”. She used this as a baiting tactic on Rowan roughly 742 times during this session and it’s now one that I’m going to pull out of my back pocket whenever I’ve run out of tricks that work on 2-year-olds. ;)

I’ll never bet against Sloanie, though, and her tricks worked out perfectly as we ran all over the Lake Elmo Park Reserve on a perfect fall day and captured these adorable moments.
