An Extended Family Session With So Much Cousin Fun

I know it can feel like total chaos to try to wrestle everyone’s calendars into cooperating for an extended family portrait session, but I promise that’s it’s SO worth it. We have some families here at Hello Buffalo that get the entire family together every couple of years to create an ongoing time capsule of everyone as they grow and it’s such a special tradition. Too often the only photos we have are quick phone snapshots or awkward family photos at weddings.

Instead, take a not from this smart fam. Get the cousins together in the backyard with toys galore, then when they start losing it break out the ice cream cones and use the inflatable pool as the final distraction on a hot Minnesota summer day (all the cousins decided that clothes were optional in the pool, so those photos are just for the fam. haha.)
