Annabelle + Alastar · 10 in 10 Sessions · Los Angeles

It's been almost a week since my 10 in 10 Sessions in Los Angeles and every time I see the photos of Annabelle laughing I still crack up. Maybe it's the striped dress, or the dark hair + bangs, or the nonstop laughter, but I texted a friend right after our shoot and told her that I thought I had just photographed myself at 2 1/2 years old. 

All of Annabelle's awesome, boisterous energy is balanced out by Alastar's sweet cautiousness. I love that age for its calm curiosity. The calm before the 2-3-4-year-old storm, perhaps. :)
